For testing:
1. Edit a note and enter some russian/arabic/chinese(foreign) characters.
2. Create a new note and enter some foreign characters
3. Create a tag with some foreign characters (by entering in the tag field of new/edit note)
4. rename a tag using some foreign characters
5. Change password to something containing foreign characters
6. Use foreign characters in all settings where it makes sense

After each step, have a look at the result. After that, reload the page with F5 and check the result again.

Furthermore all settings are currently send to the client, this includes also password hashes (e.g. login password). An interesting idea would be to add a querymanager, which is responsible for building the sql-queries.
